big brother has a closer eye on us and it will get worse all in the name of homeland security.
    :agree:
point is that this suckers should better start to monitor and control their own agencies, before spying on the common people. they're the ones that have failed about everything. talking of giving russian guns away to the talibans some Years ago, supporting bin Laden, Saddam and many others before they turned, knowing of all kind of plots and not doing anything because it might serve some political interest. believe me they're the worst...

WOW . it is still the greatest country in the history of mankind , and if you need proof , you need look no further than this thread right here , I would bet that anyone who had something negative to say about our government is still here to post again , that is not the way it is in most places gents . I agree with a lot of the things stated above . but we still got it pretty good . Most of the time we really do not want to know what our govenrment is doing , even if we suspect it , yes we supported the taliban , because at the time they were fighting russia , it is called the lesser of two evils . Russia could hurt us a lot more back then , than the Taliban would ever be able to. it is always a case of the lesser of two evils . or you can do nothing and sit on the sidelines of every skirmish , be percieved as weak , and wait for someone to try and invade you... for all of our faults , this is still right where I want to be!

Thank you Teek, I have not chimed in because I get tired of arguing this point w/people. I agree that the gov does have too much power in some areas, but this is a democratic society (to a point) and pissing and moaning on a fitness board is the wrong place to do it if you really want something to change. I posted this same thread at FG months ago and nobody seemed care.
