  • Is PCT always necessary?

    I'm just about to finish my first cycle. I'm not terribly happy with how things turned out. I sustained a shoulder injury in week eight and haven't been able to return to the gym since. My diet also went to shit when I was laid up. Next time I cycle, hopefully things will turn out better. I think I just got overzealous when I saw how strong I was getting. Too much too fast. I digress.

    I was on Deca and dbol
    Deca 200/mg per week and increased to 500/mg weeks 4-8
    Dbol 25/mg per day starting in week 4 and increased to 50/mg per day for weeks 6-10
    Right now I'm 5'11", 250-260 and a whopping 20% BF

    My question is this. Since this seems mild compared to some of the other cycles I've seen here, do I really need and PCT? If so, what would be best?
    Also, I need to shed some of this bodyfat I've gained from the downtime. I'm trying to salvage my diet and cardio is a given. I've been looking at clen and maybe some T3 but I'm wary of the thyroid affecting drugs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    is it always necessary... in a word "NO" - but in your case, yes it could definately help as you were on long enough to possibly shut down your natural production.

      IMO PCT is always necissary when your young you might rebound pretty easy but your just wearing your body out so when you get older with or without PCT it will take you along time to recover

        PCT? yeah bro unless you wanna see your hard earned gains go as fast as they came,maybe even faster.

          you guys need to note that unnecessary PCT can sometimes do more damage then good. if it's NOT in fact needed, in-proper PCT can make your estrogen drop to well below healthy levels screwing up your lipid profile.

            The thing is, I didn't really gain all that much. I gained about 15lbs of ass fat and some bloat, but no real mass gains. More strength than anything else. I don't flat bench or max out, but my incline went up almost eighty pounds!

              in your case, as i mentioned above... i agree that PCT is necessary. next time around, you may want to focus on your diet and training regimine a little more. i can't really say though, because you haven't disclosed any info yet about that :)

                  with sertain AAS i would definatly use PCT..... Deca being one of them. Also try some Clen in your off cycle, will help burn body fat and keep your gains.

                    geartripper......is there any way to tell if your estrogen level is dropping too low?
