This guy is not the norm. I have been in this game for almost 20 years and I just don't have these kinds of horror stories to report. I believe that they exist, but will they happen to everyone who uses gear? No. He makes an aweful lot of generlized claims about usage that I just don't buy. I will agree that we just don't know what the long term consequences are, but at the same time we also can't assume that they will cause all of these horrible things to everyone who uses.
