I've used T4 three times with a reasonable effect, only in coursesof one pack (30 tabs) a time, tapering from one to two tabs a day, and then tapering off again at the end, so the couse lasts less than 14 days.
I have read that T4's effect only really happens when it converts to T3 in the body and that this is one of the reasons that effidrine works as a fat burner because it increases the rate at which the body converts T4 to T3.
I've always wanted to try the supposedly strobger T3, and have recently got my hands on some, they are 25mcg per tab and I only have 30 tabs so I was going to go no higher than 5omcg per day.
I have 3 questions;
1) Has anyone had any experience with both these compounds and do you have an opinion on how they have compared, in your experience only?
2) Does anyone have an opinion on whats is a safe length of time to take thyroid hormone,
3) Does it really cause permanent shut down as I have read contrasting articles on whether is really can shut down your natural thyroid or whether in fact that is BS and that people wrongly diagnose with Hypothyroidism (low thyroid) have been given thyroid wrongly for up to 8 years and when they were eventially correctly diagnosed with something else, and taken off the T3/4 their thyroid levels begun to return to normal within 2 weeks?
