LOL, I could use the increased appetite. It is hard enough for me to eat what I need to just to maintain my skinny ass. My metabolism must be through the roof.

I am eating to bulk right now with moderate success but I am uncomfortably full all the time. It has become a chore to eat.

LOL. Hey bro, don't bitch too much about a high metabolism, it'll slow down soon enough, lol. 25 years ago I could eat "mass quantities" as Beldar Conehead said, and wouldn't gain an ounce. I mean I could eat as much as I wanted and whatever I wanted---no lbs. gained, what a bummer, THEN. Different story now--Damn, and I like chocolate too!! BB

Remeron is a norepinephrin/serotonin reuptake inhibitor. So, it is an ssri but it also modulates norepinephrin.
          What does norepinephrine do?

Wellbutrin is the only antidepressant that has worked for me. Prozac made me psychotic (and impotent), Celexa and Effexor both made me super irritable. Apparently, it is a norepinephrin/dopamine problem with me. All the others I have tried were serotonin reuptake inhibitors and they sucked for me.

It increases my labido significantly too.

I have never heard of remorin. I'll try to look it up and get back to you.
            Ever try Paxil?

Bipolar, AKA Manic Depressive. High as a kite on life for days, almost like they're on speed or something, then crash into the depths of depression and despair for days. Drs. really don't have a handle on exactly what causes it, I don't think. I think it would be worse than regular depression because of such horrific mood swings. BB

It is a neuro transmitter like serotonin or dopamine. I am not sure of it's detailed function. Neurotransmitters have a myriad of different functions that are all intertwined. Serotonin has functions on mood, appetite, sleep cycle, and metabolism; probably many others as well.

No, never tried Paxil. It is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor though so I wouldn't expect it to be much different than prozac, effexor, or celexa. It is unlikely to work for me.

BPD is a more serious condition than clinical depression and is treated with different drugs like lithium and tricyclics. I read somewhere that 80% of BPD sufferers will attempt suicide without treatment; pretty serious.

Brutal! In college they tought us that during a bipolar person's episode or "mania" would make him have sex over 60 times on a weekend, they also have racing thoughts going through their heads.

I tried to take the SRI'S like lexapro for example and they fucked me up so bad that i couldn't go to work, much less to the gym. I thought i was going insane. I can't imagine taking AS with the stuff.

I think anti'deps are overprescribed shit. It's almost like I need the exact opposite of whatever the hell they do.

Remeron will also reduce cort levels significantly. Has Wellbutrin been studied in this regard?
