Hey everyone, I've been searching on the board so I wouldnt have to post a question that has been answered. However, I couldnt find too much information. Ok so on to my question, how many calories should I be eating while on winny. My diet is perfect, and what I want to do is start losing some bodyfat. Right now i'm eating 3600 calories. My stats are 12% bodyfat, 187lbs and 5'9. I'm so confused cause i'm reading things that say i should cut my calories than i'm reading something thats saying i should increase. What should I do? By the way i've had my RMR done and it came out to 2240. Thanks for helping.

Riiiiiight.... $20 says it isnt :)Originally posted by LnjsphMy diet is perfect

So youre eating 1k+ over? Remember, 3500 calories is one pound of fat.... so you need to subtract (depending on how much you want to lose and how quickly) around 500 calories under your BMR/RMR. Post up your diet in the nutrition section and we'll pick it apart.... youre a long way away from needing winny.

I'll take that bet yellowjacket:
Meal 1: oatmeal 2 servings 300calories, 2 eggs and 6 egg whites 200 calories
Meal 2: Pasta 2 servings 420 calories, pasta sauce 90 calories, veggies 2 servings 120 calories, ground beef 2 servings 340 calories
Meal 3: Brown rice 2 servings 300 calories, pasta sauce 90 calories, veggies 2 servings 120 calories, tuna 150 calories
Meal 4: Yogurt 270 calories, ground beef 1 serving 170, veggies 1 serving 120 calories
Meal 5: N Large mass shake 580 calories
Meal 6: Ham 180 calories, brown rice 150 calories
3600 calories everyday i eat this
So if i keep eating like this, will I be able to cut down my bodyfat down?
Actually what are my options right now:
1. keep eating like this and continue to bulk?
2. cut my calories down to 3000 and see if that will cut my bodyfat?
oh by the way i'm actually a certified personal trainer, but definitely new to the aas stuff. I understand the whole eating more calories will gain weight and eating less will lose weight etc etc. However, when you start dealing with aas you are dealing with outside of the box. You can start gaining muscle and losing bodyfat at the same time. So my goal is to gain some muscle but more importantly lose some bodyfat. I have my diet down, I just need to know how many calories should i consume.Last edited by Lnjsph; 07-05-05, 01:32 AM.

I like the breakfast.... assuming this isnt packages oatmeal.Originally posted by LnjsphI'll take that bet yellowjacket:

This must be a small serving. When dieting, pasta isnt the best, due to its high carbohydrate content. If you musth ave posta, get the whole wheat variety. Good call on the veggies. All too often people leave them out.Meal 2: Pasta 2 servings 420 calories, pasta sauce 90 calories, veggies 2
Theres much better alternatives to ground beef. Try something with healthy omega fats in them, such as fish, albeit tuna, salmon, etc. fish is fairly cheap and easy to prepare and its protein/fatty acid content makes is ideal when dieting, if its not prepared with too much salt.servings 120 calories, ground beef 2 servings 340 calories
Check the sodium content in your pasta sauce. I make my own from green onions, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar.Meal 3: Brown rice 2 servings 300 calories, pasta sauce 90 calories, veggies 2 servings 120 calories, tuna 150 calories
Not bad, still not a ground beef fan though. Ill assume thats low carb/low fat yogurt.Meal 4: Yogurt 270 calories, ground beef 1 serving 170, veggies 1 serving 120 calories
A commercial weight gainer while dieting? This puzzles me. All commercial weight gainers are a joke. Replace this ASAP with something like tuna or some chicken on the Foreman grill :)Meal 5: N Large mass shake 580 calories
Throw the ham out, fat content is too high. What time is this meal? Hold off on the brown rice in the latter part of the evenings.Meal 6: Ham 180 calories, brown rice 150 calories
So if i keep eating like this, will I be able to cut down my bodyfat down?
Check the "what have you eaten today" thread in the nutrition section for some awesome ideas on bodybuilder's meals... theres some great examples for quality foods.
My Pay-Pal is by the way :)

Hey yellowjacket, I'm not insulting you or anything, but everything you wrote is basically your opinion. However, the only thing I do agree is maybe the Nlarge. As for ground beef, it is 93% lean 7% fat. Also my ham is 1.5 g fat for each serving and it is 3 servings so a total of 4.5 g fat. You need 10-30% of fat in your diet in order to get proper vitamins and also increase satiety. So i'm not going to change those. As for carbohydrates at night, I think thats a myth too. No matter if its protein, carbs or fat, at the end of the day if you have an excess amount of calories any of those will be stored as fat. Now if you are a registered dietician than i'll start to rethink everything, but I have 3 certifications (2 from NASM and 1 from 24/cpt) and just graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. Although these arent registered dietician degrees, they do touch on the subject of food and diets. I am by no means saying that I am right, but i dont think i'm wrong either. Anyways I just really want a clear answer to my question

I wont touch this part.....you obviously dont read around much.Originally posted by LnjsphHey yellowjacket, I'm not insulting you or anything, but everything you wrote is basically your opinion.
7% is too much fat. If you are serious about cutting, 7% is too much. There are much leaner, healthier alternatives that will help you get to your desired goal quicker. As for ground beef, it is 93% lean 7% fat.
Also too much fat. Also my ham is 1.5 g fat for each serving and it is 3 servings so a total of 4.5 g fat.

Yes you do. You obviously failed to research fats and their differences. There are several different types of fats. Healthy, omega fatty acids and transfatty acids are comparable and its obvious you think they are. So before you pretend to know everything, try researching or hell, just try listening.
i'm not going to change those.
Thats fine, I could care less... but good luck reaching your goals. Or you could get some winny and pretend thats the mighty bullet. Take the easy way out and get some winny, right?
As for carbohydrates at night, I think thats a myth too.
Ok, then refute this myth with some data, peer review abstracts and solid research..... begin here: www.pubmed.com
Then you obvioously lack knowledge in nutrient partioning and also lack the knowledge on the roles and resonsibilities of each nutrient and their effects on insulin, among other things. No matter if its protein, carbs or fat, at the end of the day if you have an excess amount of calories any of those will be stored as fat.

Let's not get into educational background, youre out of your league.

Well my friend, Im saying youre wrong. Sorry... thats life. These are relatively simplistic ideals (ie. the differences between fats) that you are obviously missing.... which leads me to believe you must have got that degree from Phoenix online or something :)

I am still curious as to why you chose to run winstrol. Your question is a little confusing since there isn't a set amount of calories you should run while on certain AS. It's all goal specific. You are obviously wanting to lean out, but you have made it sound like this is the winstrols job and not your diet.

man yellowjacket is a joke, again running his mouth and being the stubborn idiot that he is. I probably have seen you in the gym being the guy who thinks he knows everything and cant listen to anyone. I'm done with you. Keep thinking that you are the master of science. Phoenix college haha what a joke, obviously you have no idea what you are up against. Dont bother responding, cause i'm not going to read this thread anymore.

Nice retort, just what I expected from a guy with a fake degree. Your alumni needs to beef up their nutrition department, its obvious I have forgotten more than you know.
