  • Advice for a friend

    My lifting partner has made some huge changes in the last few months. Here are his stats before: 24 y/o, lifting since he was about 14, 6-3, 315 pounds. An idea of his strength - Bench 520, Squat 650, Deadlift the same, all natural, raw numbers. He has dropped weight by upping cardio, eating right and is now down to 248!!! Looks like a totally different guy. Strength is still there, benching 450 for a double. He told me that he's ready to try some supplements and I'd like to make some suggestions for him. Now that he's lean, he wants to keep it that way and put on lean muscle mass. I was thinking about fina and maybe something else, but not sure. Suggestions please. Thanks in advance!

      bro you have been around this board enough to know we are gonna say test only for a first cycle!

        Tren for a first cycle is not smart due to the kidney and liver toxicity issues and due to the frquent injections. I would recommend posting his diet before he starts a cycle. he may could lean up even more before wanting to cycle. But, def. test at 500mg for 10-12 weeks as a first.

                  I'll suggest 500 mg test/wk for 8 weeks followed by PCT. Depends on the availability to what we get for sure. I'll go for some prop, but Enanthate is always a sure thing. This guy is just naturally strong and big. This guy has a lot of potential. His sports options are at an end, he played his 5 years of college ball. Tried for NFL, but got cut in training camp. Other teams says that his knee is too much of a risk, it doesn't matter if he can squat 600#. I'm trying to get him to go after something like strong man competition or just get his name out there in the power lifting scene and see what happens. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

                    If he has never taken gear b4 500mgs a week is way too much bro! He needs around 250-300mgs a week. 500mgs a week is for a 2nd or 3rd cycle not a 1st. If he runs a it the 1st time at 500mgs he will never now what his true potentials are.

                      i disagree, as the late dan duchaine said any test compound under 500mgs of test is a waste of time and anything over 2gs is an overkill at lower levels of experiance. he also said something similar to deca, that anything under 400mgs was a waste other than for joint support and anything over 800 was wasting it. i read that about 12 years ago when muscle media was a good mag.

                        duchaine was a bright guy but we all know that anything under 500mg of test is NOT a waste.

                        As to the question:as for lean gains....EQ, Primo, Anavar....pick any one of those and use proviron in conjunction with it. My other reasoning for that is that he has some strong lifts and I don't think test would do him well for making his connective tissue more brittle and weak.
