Gyno suggestions before/after surgery?

Just looking for guys PERSONAL experience with gyno surgery.

I am having the gland removed and lypo.

How long did it take before you were able to go back into the gym???


Did you do anything to help the recovery process...


any other experiences???

if you read the other thread on gyno you'll see i didn't hold back on details-not that i was trying to scare the guy but better to be prepared but it really isn't a pleasant opp.make sure you have a couple of weeks off work cos you can't even raise yor arms for about 4 days. i had my gland removed also so no worries about it comming back. the good news is you can look forward to sponge baths from your girlfriend for a few days!! let me know if i can help with any other advice

i had the surgery as a kid from non-gear induced gyno. it sucked, I had to wear a tensor bandage arround my chest for a week or two and when they removed the drainage tube I almost chacked. I seem to remember almost any jarring movement hurt, and when I got rid of the tensor, even gravity hurt. Of course, I was 16 and a sissy lol.

I was told to really massage the nipple afterwards as well in order to stop/break up scar tissue...not fun. My nipple now has no feeling other than pain, but doesn't look too bad, unless you know what to look for.

Most docs will say 6-8 wks before hitting the gym again.

I'm getting it done friday at a very good plastic surgen in orange county CA. The cost was $5000 for the surgery. The only other cost was a cbc $25 and scripts $300. I will post before and after if anone would like

Just got home from surgery, they went through the, no drains. My whole chest looks bruised, pain is not that bad. Pictures soon
