that is just more of a reaction to the protein and doesn't mean you are processing it. in fact you probably are processing some of it and that is why you are feeling gassy.:D

This is fairly inaccurate. 3500 calories equals 1lb of fat, so if one were to exceed his basal metabolic rate by more than 500 calories a day for 1 week, that would equal 1lb of fat per week. Granted other factors come into play, ie. excessive cardio, but a safe estimate is around 300-400 calories above maintainence a day.Originally posted by goliath
