    It takes time (doing 1cc) , but majority of my shots I barely feel anything, don't have any blood and it's never sore or knotted. But that is also partly because of the test.

      The less time the needle is in my hand/muscle the better for me - I never get any blood, soreness, knots from the injection (maybe just the compound) but I use a 23g and shoot 2.5 to 3 cc's at a time so maybe that makes a difference - no way I could sit there patiently enough to shoot 3 cc's out of a 25g needle....
