Well in my case, I didn't get punched in the face and put on inches all around. I did lose a little when I cycled down, but who doesnt...

As for this conversation and relating just to the issue of six month vs shorter.. no one answer is wrong or right.. it's all what your body can handle and no body is the same...

try six months, I had no issues and never got bored... if you get bored maybe you should try mixing up your routine and diet a little..

    bordem is your own fault...

when we talk about long cycles i was more talking about the almost 2 years i was one once.. not 6 months..

and you took "bored" out of context. i didnt mean sit around the house and not go to the gym. i mean, loose that excitement you have when you first start a cycle, that feeling of knowing you are about to get some good results etc.. after months and months that goes away and it just becomes natural.
