  • Trick of the trade?

    Hey guys What's up!

So I'm just wondering if anyones got some tricks they wanna share with me for pinning etc, things that make it easier on you/your body. I've heard things like put the gear in warm water for a bit to warm it up? Or put syringe in microwave for 45 sec to warm up (which doesn't sound good to do at all), heating pad, workout right away etc....

I go really slow depressing the plunger...that helps some. Like 60 seconds or so.

Use a pin to extract the juice and use a new pin to inject yourself. Make sure the pin is going in straight not an angle. After injection rub the spot out with lotion to get the knot out. It gets easier with time and practice.

Use a new syringe every shot...No need to use 2 needles for 1 shot...The needle used during extraction of the oils is perfectly fine; too much work IMO.

I would use your most thickest muscles for this...A lot of guys typically do delts/quads and arms...I always shoot at an angle(not much though)...I'm trying to find where I recently read it's better to shoot at an angle...Considering I shoot EOD for 6 months at a time, I try to make sure I cover all areas possible because of scar tissue, which I have some in certain areas right now.

If you feel a knot after the shot, rub it out while taking a hot shower...I try to shoot before my shower just in case this happens.

I also place the needle right on the area I'm shooting and easily push in. All you'll feel is a small pinch and then you want to smoothly push the needle all the way in without stopping...Don't stop, you'll regret it:)

Push all the oil out when the needle is ALL THE WAY in...Not too fast though...Pull the needle out and you're done...I will say this though...They say to aspirate, I have never done this and I've been fine...But I would read into this for yourself.
all very reasonable advise execpt the last line. It is super important to asperate. Once you get the smallest drop in your blood you will know why. You will think you are gonna die. you will cough your damn lung up at the same time it feels like someone is squeezing your lungs and the life outta ya. all while crying like a lil girl. all that and thats only a drop. Rado has been very lucky thats for sure. It takes .00002 seconds to asperate trust me do it.

^^Agreed definitely aspirate... I have felt what happens when you get a bit in your bloodstream and rockets explaination of it is bang on.... Not fun at all!

You can warm it in the mic but 45 seconds is way too freakin long... that would make it boiling hot and burn you like a mother if you injected it... more like 5 - 7 seconds would be good....

Rado i have to disagree i use two pins. It is common fact after the pin goes into the ruber stoper in the the top of the vial it dulls the end of the pin. Thats why your always bitching on the post that your arms are bruised and sore. Also aspirate. Dont take the fast route you will hurt yourself in the long run. Also injections are intramuscular they need to go in straight not at an angle. If im wrong i will admit it but. Prove me wrong. Not to be an ass.

I use an 18g needle to draw, syringe fills in seconds and also when I switch back to the other needle I have an untouched perfectly sterile and sharp needle. :)

Your a trained profesional i can tell. Anyways i agree a little extra time can be rewarding later when you have less pain in your injection sites. Pins and syringes are cheap anyways.

Ya I agree in 2 pinz also. there are pictures of super close ups of the tips of a used pin and it looks nasty.

Rado does use 1.5" so even if he goes at a angle hes getting it in deep enough

Definitely Aspirate, use 2 new needles every time (theyre cheap), and I like to work the muscle after I shoot it. I usually only do quads, once per side per week, so I go to the gym after the shot and either work legs if its leg day or do some cardio. Theory is that it gets the blood flowing and spreads out the oil, minimizing soreness.
