  • I can't for the life of my get cut...

So I am turning to anabolics to aide me. I have used multiple over the shelf fat loss instruments, I have implemented cyclical carb diets, no card diets, and minimal carb diets. I have tried multiple levels of caloric intake and multiple forms of training. Currently I am using a carb cycle diet. Low cars for two days (Sunday, Monday), High Carbs Tuesday, Low carbs Wednesday; Thursday, high carbs friday, low to moderate carb Saturday.

My Low carb day is as follows and is, in my calculations about 2600 calories.

7:00 am Meal 1: 2 Scoop when protein, 1/4 cup almonds, 1/2 cup oatmeal (Only starchy carbo of day)
10:30 am Meal 2; 7 oz of chcken, 1 cup broccoli / green beans
2:00 pm Meal 3: Same as above
    5:30 pm Meal 4: 1 scoop whey protein w/almond butter (1 TBSP)
7:30 pm Meal 5: 1 scoop whey right after workout.
8:00 pm Meal 6: Immediately following meal 5, about 30 minutes. 7-8 oz of lean beef (flank or london broil) with 1 head of Romain lettuce and some dressing.
10:00 pm or so Meal 7: 1 egg, 3 egg whites.

Should I not be eating the 10pm meal?

My High carb days are as follows
7:00 am Meal 1: 2 Scoop when protein, 1/4 cup almonds, 1/2 cup oatmeal
10:30 am Meal 2; 6 oz of chcken, 1 cup broccoli / green beans, 1/4 cup rice
2:00 pm Meal 3: Same as above
5:30 pm Meal 4: 1 scoop whey protein w/almond butter (1 TBSP) and apple
7:30 pm Meal 5: 1 scoop whey right after workout.
8:00 pm Meal 6: Immediately following meal 5, about 30 minutes. 6 oz of lean ground beef, 1tbsp of tomato sauce, gluton free rice noodles and 1 head of romain lettuce
10:00 pm or so Meal 7: 1 egg, 3 egg whites.

I am thinking of taking Clen or some other form of thermogenic to get cut. I currently do cardio 4 mornings a week for 45 minutes and my workouts are a mix supersets and short rest periods.

Can you guys help me figure out what would be the best anabolic to utilize? A lot of people are telling me that Clen is the best cutting substance. Does anyone think it would be a bad idea for me to use test to gain some muscle and then try and cut again. I am just at a loss. I have tried 3 meal plans since October and lost about 5 lbs and an inch off my waist....and Im getting frustrated.

The only problem with things like test is that it will make you hold more water and increase estrogen levels etc.. I have a feeling you already have higher then normal estro levels (that would explain why your body likes to hold onto fat).

if i were you i would get a complete blood panel done. i am interested to know if your estro levels and test levels are normal range. i would also like to know what your thyroid levels are.

I had blood work done and it said all was normal according to my doctor. In response to the holding fat / estro level thing...I am hairy...and I just assumed that meant I had MORE test than normal??

What type of good thermo/non test would you suggest?

And here is a question. I have been cooking the chicken with EVOO...Should I just be boiling it as if I were getting ready for a competition?

i dont know about boiling it. but you can cook chicken without oil.

cut it up into tiny pieces and fast cook it in a pan with hot sauce, grill it etc..

This is my problem with cardio. So many different pieces of advice. Some people say cardio 6x a week, for an hour low intensity so it doesn't burn fat, others say interval, and some say what you suggest. I have tried them all over the past two years, none with any greater success than the other. That being said, I am going to throw in 45 min of cardio every morn except Saturday interval or at the fat burning level.

Would it be better without the oil? Don't I need the EVOO fats?

Still no help with anabolic ideas...must be a hint that everyone thinks its a bad idea.

what i know is that if things aren't working you have to adjust up. Personally I do HIIT on off days and steady state on weight days...but I'm up to an hour now.

Chris, I would try HIIT. Think of athletes such as the skill positions (basically not the linemen). In the game and practice it is quick bursts of speed, then relax. granted theiir genetics are amazing, but that type of training is for athletes. Steady pace is more like a marathon runner.

i think you should cut out the oil. you are getting some fats from other meals. some people store the fat they eat more then others. give it a try and see.

i dont think "anabolics" will do anything to help you with the current problem. as you know, the definition of anabolic is muscle building. you have a fat storage problem that we need to figure out.

Did you get Lyle McDonald's Ultimate Diet 2.0 (if you are around 12% and looking to get to single digits) or Rapid Fat Loss (if you are 15-17% trying to get to 11-12%) like I suggested to you a few months ago?

If you did and followed it religiously, you will see results. These are tried and tested methods with a proven track record of success and put together by one of the authorities on nutrition and arhletic performance.

I didn't read all of your post but imo if you can't get cut without anabolic's your not gonna get cut with them. Either your not doing enough cardio or your eating too many cals or both. I could put you through a 3 hour a day boxing routine and i garantee you will be cut in 6 weeks. Your not doing enough.
