New to the forum, names Ed 43yoa, 5'10 220lbs. Been working out off and on due to injuries/surgeries for the last few years. After my last major knee surgery I had blood work done and I had a whopping test level of 73. My doctor put me on the patch, the gel and finally test c shots 1 x per month at 200ml. After a year of this my levels are hovering at 320. My doc is conservative so I haven't pushed it with him but at my last blood test doc agreed it was time to up the dosage and frequency. I've been working on macros and now am ready to do my first cycle since my doc has now allowed me to self inject. So here are a few questions if anyone can give me some guidance/suggestions.
Thinking at starting at 250ml a week of test c since this is my first try at it and from what I've read that for a first try 200-300ml a week is a good start. So for weekly injections should I do the shot one time per week or break it up to 2 weekly shots at 125ml each?
I respond well to high volume training and am thinking of trying Nortons PHAT training with a few tweaks throughout the routine since I've had success in the past. Calorie wise, I could stand to lose a few lbs (I don't know what my bf% is at the moment) should I stay at maintenance or up it a bit? Routine is upper, lower, chest & back, legs, then shoulder an arms and cardio will consist of cardio post workout and non workout days. At the moment I cannot do any hit training due to knees. I think I've pretty much covered everything, I'm going to be on the shots for awhile and can be patient and up dosage on the second cycle. Plan to do this for 12 to 14 weeks and then continue with weekly shots of 150ml.
