Most supplements that are shilled by the snake oil salesmen that populate the fitness industry are rubbish. The efficacy or safety of most of them have not been verified by careful scientific double blinded placebo-controlled trials. They are harmless at best, and sometimes downright dangerous. However, creatine is one of the few for which both the efficacy and safety have been reasonably verified.

You recommended it at as a standalone supplement. Why not just say whey? Whey certainly has benefits.Originally posted by boricuarage79 View PostWtf does that have to do with people being lazy!! Glutamine alone which was very popular in the bodybuilding community 15 years ago has been shown to have pretty much no muscle building benefits on it's own.
Don't get angry when someone corrects you on outdated information bro. We are here to learn not just agree with each other for the hell of it.
Had you said creatine monohydrate or whey I would have backed you up as something that has been tried, tested, and proven. Glutamine by itself has been debunked for years bro, regardless of whether you are natty or not.
It's nothing personal. Relax and learn bro. Don't just stick with outdated info and refuse to believe it simply because glutamine was popular when you got into lifting. You act like I attacked you personally or something. I just thought it was funny you called the guy out on being lazy about doing research but then recommended glutamine... "FU man".. lol.
