Why and how does HGH impact your blood sugar levels? I read online that you can become diabetic. How does it do this, thru what mechanism? I didn't know HGH can raise/lower BGL. I'm still learning about growth, look forward to running it in the future. In the mean time trying to soak up as much info about it.

I never looked into it and didn't even know about it until maybe 5!years ago my HRT doc was telling me to keep my IGF down to 350s
Never asked him how or why but I can guess it has to do with the insulin resistance just no clue how or what don't even care I trust my doc enough to stay at 350igf besides I can't afford more than 2.5 IUs a day anyways lol.

GH raises IGF (insulin like growth factor). The higher your igf levels the harder the pancreas has to work to keep blood sugar stable. Long story short if your igf levels are too high for too long your body can become desensitized or insulin resistant aka diabetes.

Do you know your baseline? Unless it's extremely low, your igf-1 should be closer to 450.

Yes I've had my base done a few times. 118 and high as 143 on nothing....
