at first i was skeptical about admitting things to my girlfriend. in the end though, if you can't trust the one you're with... who can you trust? she may not agree with everything i've done, as i sure as hell don't agree with everything she's done... but in the end, we're still together and will probably be for a long time. i've asked her to join some of these boards to learn about AS. she's been around a few boards now for a while and i think she understands me a little bit better somehow now. i'm so very glad she took the time to read up on her own rather than having me keep ramming my thoughts down her throat about AS. sometimes it's a good thing to get views and opinions from other people - as she's done here. i've also given her free access to all my books on the subject to read at her leisure. in hindsight, i think i may have created a monster as she keeps wanting to stick me all the time... i say she needs to practice on some fruit first :D

as for me admitting my use to the "general population" though... don't ask, don't tell. i'm not going to openly admit to it, but i won't deny it either. i think those close to me know, others have their opinions.

i keep it a secret unless i know the person very well. i'vw noticed that a persons attitude will completetly change toward me if i tell them i juice. they automatically assume that juice alone is responsable for what i have achieved...never mind busting my ass in the gym and kitchen 7 days a week.

I told a close friend because all he knew were guys who abused them.. He noticed I'm actually not an asshole on gear, usually it's supposed to be worse.. :)

i wouldn't hide it from my BF, who i live with so it would be hard anyway. but intimacy = honesty. and i want intimacy; plus we are pretty well committed, we're making retirement plans together. not quite married but in some ways might as well be. anyway - i might tell a close friend. otherwise i'd play it pretty close to the cuff. i don't have any desire for legal expenses. besides it's noone's damn business.
