I will be 3 weeks out from my first show and 8 weeks out from my last show as of this coming Friday - I have been posing for my trainer every Saturday but we couldn't meet last weekend and I'm going sailing this weekend so I won't have pictures until I'm about two weeks out...
My upper body looks great - I'm loving the veins at my hip/ab area and other cool things are happening but I just can NOT get my legs to respond like I want them to - it's too late to try changing anything up though so I'm just going to keep on keeping on and hope my plans work the way I want them to (although I figure by the time my last show comes around I "should" be in much better condition than my first show so I'm not too worried - I've been MUCH more confident and relaxed with EVERYTHING this year)....
Sorry I haven't been updating the log - it's pretty difficult juggling everything I am right now but to be honest not much has changed with the workouts/lifts - the recent split change has been good for me - my weights are dropping slightly but not enough to be upset...
Down to 199 this week - trying to come in at 187.25 for the first shows Novice Middle-Weight class and I will probably carb up for the last two shows hoping to come in somewhere near the top of the Junior/Open Light-Heavy classes - I know I don't have the size to hang with some of the light-heavy's but if I can get my legs to lean out as nicely as my upper body I should at least be able to place...
The goal is to take next year off and hit 250 by January of 2008 (I got to 230 this past January) - I will lean out a little for the spring/summer and then shoot for a good 260-265 by January of 2009 and competing that spring - hope to step on stage as a full light-heavy or low end heavyweight (in the 210-215 range but shredded)....
I've only been on the Winny/Tren for 17 days so hopefully that combined with my diet will bring these m'fking legs in (and I don't switch over to prop until the end of this week) - they are pissing me off to no end - I couldn't be happier with my upper body but the lack of separation/definition/leanness in my lower body is killing me in more ways than one - I have 3 more weeks until the first show, 6 to the second and 8 to the last - if my legs aren't "in" by the last show I'm cutting them completely off and competing in a chair (mark my words  )....
