Serge certainly had the genetics and know how, but the guy was like 210 at 6 ft, besides arnold was top dog and I just don't see him with those legs, being anywhere near top as he was. Good debate though and I could be wrong

I agree... legs definitely were lagging for the old timers. But I suspect they should have been able to adjust for that and make it up.

Maybe we need to go back to a bodybuilding aesthetic where a 210lb guy has a realistic chance of winning if the 260lb guy looks like a sack of shit. Where quality trumps quantity.

when i post all those pics praising guys like flex, serge, heath, young ronnie, even those freaky pics of markus at the 2002 NOC etc.. you guys have nothing to say. but when i post pics like i did in this thread suddenly i am trying to make myself feel better. which is it guys? make up your mind.

rockel is well known for his gut, yes he looks great when he is flexing from the front of holding it in from the side, but the second he relaxes he has one of the worst guts in bodybuilding.
