It is exactly the same Civil rights are civil rights. When you separate groups of people into different categories and then say its ok for this group and not ok for this group then you are denying people basic civil rights. This country has all kinds of rights including the freedom of religion and the freedom from religion. When the constitution was written a lot of care was put into it to word it in such a way that the word God is never mentioned to protect people from religious persecution. In god we trust was added years later as well as to the pledge which by the way is unconstitutional. This is a legal issue not a religious issue. There are many religions in this country that don’t believe in god and these are the freedoms this country are based on. There has to be a separation of church and state and the freedom from religion. That is the reason the Pilgrims came hear in the 1st place, to escape religious persecution. Your trying to say that this country is based on exactly the reason the farthers left Europe for. You should perhaps brush up on your American history
