I am just saying there are times you CAN stand back and look at a situation before you do anything too rash and this seems like one of them, in my opinion.

And just so you know, I don't speak from ignorance. I may only be 19, but I think I know the world quite well. I have had to deal with a lot. I am not trying to be some prick who is telling you what to do, I am just trying to give you my $.02. I wasn't there, so I doubt I will ever know the 100% truth, but I am much the pacafist of sorts. For a personall note as someone who doesn't know me, you can think what you want, tell me, "You're 19, you don't have a grip on shit." You can tell me I have obviously never been in a fight in my life, but the truth is, I have. I wish I have never been also. People have fought me over stupid shit and for stupid reasons. I've been in the hospital, I've been "stabbed" in my arm and I have the scar to prove it, I've beaten up by some punk and his friends b/c some fucknut "just didn't like me", so please give me shit because I still try and look for hope that humans aren't all essentially stupid fucks here to cause a ruckus.

Obviously there were quite a few misunderstandings that were construed by Doom's recollection of the events that took place that night. He was most probably still reeling from what had just happened when he opened this thread, and his recollection may not have been as concise as it could have been. I know when sudden things like that happene to me, things happen so fast, it's very difficult to recall everything that went down. Suffice it to say that he did what he needed to do to defend himself and his family. Just because you are a big guy and you know that there is a risk that asswipes may try to take you down to prove shit, does not mean you have to live your life like a hermet. You just have to take that risk when you go out and try to stay as low profile as possible. I think as long as he is not looking for shit and going about his business and not bothering anyone, that he should be able to go and do as he pleases.

Yea, it's not fair people get off because they have money, but that is life. Like the kids at my high school who kicked me ass, all 4 of em, (Im not that big either) because the rumor was that I was gay. They never liked me, told me I was "checkin 'em out" one day and jumped me, after school. Never got heard by anyone other than the cops. Their parents had more money than my parents, their parents kept it quiet. Never told anyone why it happened until now. I agree with you, and yea it sucks, but there is nothing we can do about it on this board.

So whos making the bad judgement you or I? I don't mean to claim I know all, just that I know enough. I don't think that I will change my belief no matter how many people throw a punch at me. I will always have this bottomless hope of mankinds goodness. I try and look for it everywhere and regardless of how hard it is to find, it's always there.
