Are you sure it's the media that is hyping these physiques, or is it that that's the physiques that people want to see? It's not the media doing it, it's the people. No one wants to see every girl with 20% bf, so why would the mags put people in like this. Take aguillera with 20% bf and 10%bf. Which one are people going to want to see. I knew so many girls in highschool who had eating disorders, regardless of whether christina did or not it definetly doesn't help that she sets what's "Hot" as looking like a twig.
