Questioning your government is not treason, giving aid to those who wish it harm is.
Michael Moore in his previous "documentaries" as well as this one has been proven to falsify text from interviews, recreate and stage events for dramatic effect, and conveniently edit quotes and on camera clips in order to slant topics. He is also an admitted supporter of communist and socialist ideology, and has stated on numerous occasions that he hates even the democratic party that now supports him because they're not LIBERAL ENOUGH!Comment

i agree that some of the tactics in his past movies are certainly questionable, if not downright dishonest. however, this film was much more fact than opinion. i'm not a michael moore fan by any means. but i strongly disagree that he is a "peice of shit socialist liar" - he is a very liberal guy with an agenda. he wants bush out of the white house. as i said, this film is very much fact, and anyone who cares about this country owes it to themselves and the U.S. to watch it. some of us have our own views on the war in iraq that oppose michael moores, but those that oppose it should see the film if for no other reason than to have a better understanding of the opposing view point.Originally posted by decadecadeca

is it treason to follow the very basis of our country..freedom of speech and religion? questioning government is what halped this nation become more than just english colonies. whether or not you agree with moore is irrelevant when it comes to his right to show his movie, and is certainly irrelevant when it comes to treason. The american who took up arms in afghanistan agaisnt us is guilty of treason, morre is exercising his 1st amendment right. All you uber-conservatives out there trying to keep people from seeing this movie are helping promote anyway so keep it up
p.s. i have not seen it yet, i am registered republican, i just dont appreciate a president who lies, still undecided on my vote for this fallComment

I don't agree with everything that Moore has to say or some of his tactics. However, he does present a lot of valid and thought provoking information. How can something that provokes thought/debate be a bad thing? If soomeone doe not believe what he is presenting and it prompts them to search for what they believe to be as the truth, then I think Moore has done something bebeficial for this country. It would be foolish to accept everything he presents as a fact, but if you question it and search for answers then he did his job.Comment
