Girlfriend "picture-phoned' @ local gym!

so here's the deal... she just heard this evening from one of the managers that employee's there have been using their camera-phones to photograph her. she does wear those cute little outfits, but has never undressed there so there shouldn't be too much to worry about. so far one employee has been fired (supposedly) and the others have been reprimanded (supposedly). this is the first i've heard about this and would like info on how to proceed... so i don't blow my top and end up in jail for beating the living snot out of a few people. i have about 8 hours to cool off before tomorrow morning when the gym opens. any advice is appreciated.

i'm not soo upset, cause she's a pretty girl and all but kinda cause i didn't give them permission and neither did she- and that is that fact alone that pisses me off most.

Just go up to them nicely and tell them you heard they had good pics of your girl on their phone and when they show you take the phone and break it in half! lol

it was one of the many managers that brought this to her attention. we had no clue.

i'm on pretty much then ice as it is with my "known" temper and personality. this is the last gym in the area that has a decent weight room that i'm permitted into LOL... actually i've really tried to calm down over the last two years.

I would take this approach.....Let the management know that you would like all of the pics destroyed and the people responsible taking the pics fired or you will go public! I'm sure she is not the only one that they have taken pics of! They may even throw in a free membership just to keep the two of you quiet! The idea of losing members or having anyone else throw a lawsuit at them will bring them to their knees! IMO

I would try to confront them in a decent manor first. I saw some guys taking up skirt pics of girls at a nightclub once and walked over there and confronted them about it. I tried to keep it decent and they did stop taking the pictures from what i could tell and never saw them taking more that night. I have a camera phone, but I'm not going to do crap like that without someone knowing.

Most "sensible gyms" don't allow the use of any phones anywhere inside because of this camera phone phenomenon....

:agree: Yep...at Legends if you work there all you better have in your hands are a clipboard and a timer! I do see them with glass cleaner and disinfectant quite often as well! If pictures are taken it is by the mangement with a real camera and with the persons consent!

well said, first off if they're taking pictures of your girl, they're probably taking pictures of others. and i mean seriously, how much of a tool do you have to be to not get any while working at a gym? the manager acted responsibly in bringing it to your attention without covering it up, and that man deserves a medal for doing so despite the fear of having the shit beat out of him. I don't agree with "reprimanding" however. These people violated you and your girls trust, violated your privacy, and used their position at the gym in the process of doing so. I'm not sure what the laws regarding voyeurism in your jurisdiction are, but it's in all likelihood illegal. There's no way for you to ensure the pics are all destroyed, but they've taken about as many steps in that direction as you can hope for, but i would expect the rest of the parties involved to be terminated, without exception. You don't even have to threaten a lawsuit yet, though that is certainly a viable option, just talk about a calling your local tv station. media organizations are desperate to find something to put b/w the stories in iraq/afghanistan and the elections, and having a news crew show up could easily put them under. if their actions from this point onward do not put you at ease, let them dig their own chapter 11 grave, because if i learned of something like this going on at my gym i would in principal throw my membership card at them as well.

I guess you could threaten to file a lawsuit. I'm not a big fan of lawsuits in general, but in todays world pretty much everything is settled that way. I'm sure you wouldn't have to go through with it anyway, just mention it and they will be kissing your ass big time. It would be more satisfying to start breaking cameras and bashing heads, and that may be the way to go, just be "discreet" about it. Plus, you can take pride in the fact that people notice your girl and that they would want to take her picture in the first place. In a sick, twisted way, it is a compliment to you and your lady. My gf has an unusually nice backside and draws quite a bit of attention also, but as long as people are respectful, it doesn't bother me too much. I even let a bro put a picture of her ass on his computer as a screensaver./

Get a picture phone and obvoiously start photographing them. When they are doing sets stand about 3 feet away and snap away . Get creative with it, lay on the floor and shoot upwards, act like you are aprofessional,really freak them out and entice them into saying or doing somthing. Then open a can of whoop ass.
