In reality Bouncer, I'm just not quite ready to accept that what is arguably the greatest technological achievement ever made is a giant governmental cover up. Even if it did happen in the good ole USA. This government is good at cover ups, but I think not quite THAT good.

One thing that the moonlanding conspiracies fail to include is the fact that we left a transponder on the moon that starting counting when it was put there. If you beam a laser to the landing coordinates you’ll get a modulated count signal back.

The soil on the moon isn't comparable to that on earth, therefore the impression left by the boot is consistent with the powder like surface.

Second:

The flag has a metal rod inserted at the top in order to be properly displayed.

People, this is how some folks make money. They conjure up conspiracy theories and write books and give lectures. Don't believe any of this nonsense until you hear a counter-argument that debunks the stuff.

NASA has always said that the flag had wires in it so that it would wave. The lunar surface was very dusty and compactible. There are several hundred pounds of moon rocks that were brought back and given to scientists all over the world.

There are suckers born every minute.

Well that is an ignorant thing to say. You do realize that the moon keeps the earth in a steady orbit dont you? Take away the moon and the earth would be flying around in all kinds of directions making it impossable for human life.

i just like to get people thinking and questioning the things that people take as fact simply because some authority said it was so. i love watching people explore alternative ideas and thinking for themselves...

The only sure way to prove the moon landings really happened is to return to the Moon and see if the Apollo hardware is there.

Direct visual verification would certainly put an end to the issue, however there are at least three pieces of hardware on the Moon that are not in dispute. Apollos 11, 14 and 15 erected laser reflectors on the lunar surface. Laser beams are routinely fired at these reflectors through telescopes at McDonald Observatory in Texas and near Grasse in southern France. Timings of these reflected beams are used to measure the Earth-Moon distance to an accuracy of one inch. To explain the existence of these reflectors the hoax advocates have no choice but to claim they were placed on the Moon by robotic landers; a huge undertaking for which there is no supporting evidence. The simple answer: the Apollo astronauts placed them there.

Believe what you want...I will always believe that we put a man on the moon! I guess the next question will be ..did we really bomb Hiroshima or did Hitler really kill all of those people? What puzzles me is why is our government giving all these grants out just to research and question what they did years ago! Give me a fucking break! Too many people say "question everything" ! If we go through life wondering what was real or not we are really going nowhere! IMO

I saw the documentary as well.... it was a total hoax to get russia to waste money on their space program... and boost america pride.
