Most near/far sightedness is caused by a mismatch between the cornea and lens curvature and the mature size of the eyeball chamber. This starts at the puberty growth spurt and tapers down to nil by the early 20's. Astigmatism is usually a curvature problem in the cornea. Both of these respond well to laser surgery.
Age related farsightedness is hardening in the lens itself.
The only condition that may respond to exercise is lazy lens muscles, which is relatively rare.
Im a 1.50 right eye and 1.25 left eye. And i swear i cannot see anything without my contacts. People say its nothing, but to me i cannot see a persons face 6 feet away, maybe a little but very blurry.
