Virus maybe

Damn it's annoying, my computer at work has to have a virus or something It keeps setting itself back an hour. It's been doing it for the past two days I almost stayed at work longer yesterday then I checked my cell phone and realized it was time to go... WTF.
Is this a virus or something guys, I keep setting it ahead then ten minutes ltr it goes back

We just moved from to a different floor so I don't think it's set up yet.

It could be synchronizing itself to a server in a different time zone, depends on how the whole network it setup though.

Some computers have a little battery (I think it's actually one of those round watch batteries) and that's what keeps the time and date accurate for when the machine is turned off. I forget where it is inside. If the computer is old, that's probably what the problem is instead of a virus. One way to tell is to leave the time alone for a few days and see if it's still only one hour off or it it winds up a few hours off. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips Puddles, yeah I spoke to our IT guy he's gonna take care of it. He started using computer lingo and lost me there for a second, but he said he will address the problem later today. lol..So I will expect him an hour after my computer says so.

yeah damn guy never showed up to fix it, I changed the time zone to make it the right time for now
