  • How long did it take you....

    How long did it take you to be where you want to be in terms of goals? I'm coming up on a year in about a month, and not near what i want to be at...just curious to see....

    Ask me when I reach them; every time I make a step forward, seem to get ill or have another setback and take two steps backwards.....

      Sounds like you should set shorter term goals. Once you reach one, set another one. If it's been over a year, I can see that being frustrating. I think smaller ones might be more motivating, and keep you on focus. For example, increasing your bench 10%...once you reach it, create another goal.

        All of my life to some degree, but my biggest downfall happened when I was pregnant and thereafter for a while, been wanting and working towards getting better since then, 12 yrs, but gaining good knowledge and making serious progress has only been for about 3 yrs. Poor information delayed me a lot.

          i will never achieve my goal. If i wanted to get to 230 before, i got there and i wasnt happy. Iam aiming for 240-250 by spring or summer. If im there i'll see what happens. If not continue to grow and grow.
