Sounds to me like he just pushed the woman out of his personal space; I might have done the same if some crazy woman came over and got in my face with no provocation at all.

Sounds like the woman would not have let him walk away. She confronted and (at least verbally) attacked him.

I might have smiled at her and said little things to goad her into assaulting me and then knocked her out.

Well, harassment is when someone is asked to stop something and they continue. If the man asked her to step away or whatever and she didn't, he very well could have felt threatened.

Anytime a woman gets in my face, I feel threatened. You know why? Because if a woman has the balls to get hostile with a man, I feel she is hiding something and is a generally violent person. I would have knocked her out and say she must have tripped over something and knocked herself out.

also I didn't catch what state this was in but without serious physical injury that is not assault, it is still harassment when you just push someone which is just a violation or misdemeanor in NY. if they really consider that assault then it is a fucked up state, LOL.

You'd be surprised how the law favors women. Buddy of mine got screwed when his ex was clawing at him, he pushed her off of him. She hit her head on the side walk and she called the cops. Her and her friend said he pushed her and off to jail and anger management he goes. He tells the cops, well what about all these scratches and shit she gave me, I want to press charges too. Nope, they tell him too bad, and he should've made his claim before she did. What kind of bullshit justice system are we being governed by? Now he is permanently barred from becoming a correctional officer because they count it as domestic abuse.

I would have spit in her face, and if she attacked me physically, get security and press charges against her. Turn the tables.

seriously - why the hell is it so hard for you men to just say "i'll be the bigger person and just walk away from the wacko"??

why does it have to be "i'd deck her" "i'd shove her"???

                wtf?

very true bro. I would have done the same. If someones all in my face and wont let me go no matter what i do or try to get away, hey u get frustrated and all and react.:)

Cause theres people guys/girls in this world that that either tell u something bad, and u tell them back and they want you to shut up first, so this can make them look superior. Well most of the time, the people who want to be the superior end up getting pushed, really verbally assulted, or thier asses kicked. Ive seen it alot, Ive been through it, and seen it here on the net too.

Confrontation is the last thing in my mind. I will first try to talk my way out of it. Or ignore it and walk away. I will walk away again, if they continue. My lat option is doing something about it.

Ive learned the hard way not to mess up people like before. I have a zero tolerance for anything. But from my mistakes, I think about it twice. I dont really understand people, they ask for shit and then u do shit to them and they either wanna press charges, threaten to kill u, or something else. Only because the law protects them.

Cause people who work the system to get over make people like us sick to our stomachs. That woman was so confident that if shit went down she'd be the victor because she could press charges. A person like that needs to have their ass beat down and then not be able to do anything about it. Hopefully it'll be a wake up call so that maybe she thinks twice before she tries to pull some shit like that again.

Maybe she was the bigger person and maybe that's why he felt threatened. :D

Because the law obviously does not teach people that you shouldn't talk to someone that way. Why is it before the 70s it was normal to put someone in their place that talked to you this way, not it's not right? This is the reason why more and more people get away with just fuckin with someone. If people knew they would be decked by being nasty to someone, how often do you think it would happen?

Today's society is just a bunch of pussies.
