I am angry, not at her, but at the fact that she is receiveing special attention over something that has happend to others (even women) and they got nothing but a medal. That is my point.

I am angry at her . and the military ..... in any other branch of service , and if she was a male . she would have gotten an ass chewing for being a cluster f**k , but she is a woman serving in a controversial War that needs a positive spin. If she had any pride in her at all she would say you know this is embarassing I am a Moron , who cannot follow orders , I do not deserve any of this . but of course , that is not going to happen .. so you cannot be angry at her for that . I am angry at the fact that she herself does not pass along some of her benefits or at least praise the soldiers who risked their lives to save hers . every chance she gets . I have watched her be interviewed on three different occasions wherein she chose to act like she was some kind of hero .. made me nauseous

I dont think any of this has anything to do with gender. Male or female, she was captured, had the shit beat out of her (so they say) and was rescued, I dont think her having a dick or not means anything, a male would have been treated the same way. Im not sure what benefits you want her to pass on, I guess she could give her car to a soldier, or send someone else to college, but Im sure the other POWs are being paid their dues as well, just not on a public level.

You guys are only seeing national interviews, shes on TV everyday here and says if she wasnt getting married, she would rejoin the her branch of the military when she was capable of performing her duties.

Im not proud of her, I dont feel sorry for her, the way I see it, they fucked up, but it'd be a lot different if that were you, or even worse, one of your kids, everyone would think differently.

There were other males with her at least 4 of them name one without doing a search ??? UH HUH it has everything to do with Gender .. I am not saying I do not have sympathy . it was an awful situation .. but nonetheless ... a mistake , and worse yet a mistake that has been rewarded .

The first mistake is going into the military to start with, and thats rewarded on a daily basis......

Second, she wasnt with those males, she was alone, thats what the big deal is. 4 people together, who were fed and sheltered, and one person alone and god knows what went on..... big difference. To bring gender in this is comical.
