Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13. The former states, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable"; the latter states, "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death..."

Thanks for looking that up...I was about to do it myself.

I believe the bible also says God destroyed an entire city and killed all of it's people because they were committing adultry, and having homosexual sex.

Not only that but some of them were not having hetero sex in the missionary position, and all of them were doing this way past midnight. :eek: Can you believe that? :D

God is a very loving, caring, forgiving god. For now. Don't be afraid to read the book of Revelations. It is very specific. When God comes back for his children, make no mistake, he will be ruthless and every knee WILL BOW! I am not trying to preach, but don't think for one second that he will take everyone because they think their a "good person". God does have specific demands and those whom don't do them will have to answer. Put God first in everything you do, and give him full praise. For he is the God of life and he will also be a god of death.

You are correct sweety, But I think the topic should be discussed light-heartedly. Heavily opinionated posts like that get on my nerves, because even though they say they don't mean to preach, look at the tone of the post and tell me if it doesn't sound like its trying to say if you don't start shaping up, this big mean old god is gonna come and getcha!! :eek:

the bible also states premarital sex is a sin but i bet just about all of the unmarried people get it on with out another thought. and what about gear? if the body is a temple then do you think god wants illegal drugs in there? dont pick and choose your sins to stand up against and commit others. that is why i will never step foot in any church again, its due to the hypocricy of many of its members. i am not flaming anybody just telling how i see it.
