We endend up going to http://www.carrabbas.com/ and it was pretty damn good to be honest. Keep in mind im from the italian capitol of the US and have been to all the little family owned places. This place was pretty damn good. I got the chicken trio. 3 Pieces of grilled chicken breast with different sauces and such. Try the place out if you have one near you.

lol, I posted about them a few posts above. They have great food. Their shrimp scampi is the best I've ever tasted.

Carrabbas is pretty good...another italian chain though. Here in Tally we have some small places...Zibhardi's, Little Italy and Village Pizza...all are owned by some italian brothers that own them...the food is awesome! As I said before...ask the locals about where to get the best italian food!

I travel to big cities all the time, so I've learned that the only way to find good authentic restaurants, especially for international cuisine is to ask the locals. A lot of times, the places with the best food don't look great from the street or are really hard to find but well worth the effort.

Carrabbas tastes better than Olive Garden, both have large portions. If you go into these places knowing they're chains and don't expect truly authentic foods, then you won't be dissapointed. I usually prefer going to a little local place where the food is better but the atmospheres in the chains tend to be more lively and fun.
I've been to Carrabbas and Olive Garden, now they aren't something to write home about. But in the chain sense, Carrabbas out-trumps Olive Garden. But as everyone else is saying, the best restaurants are the locally owned ones. One of the best in my neck of the woods is located in what used to be a barn on the main strip of land near Loop 610.
