I also have really bad astigmatisms but there are now contact lenses designed for people like us. They're called Frequency 55 by Toric. They have a very slight difference in thickness so that the bottom will weigh more than the rest of the lens and the portion that covers the astigmatism (wherever it may be located) gets proper lens coverage. That portion of the lens is manufactured to the correct prescription to meet the difference in your vision needs and doesn't shift while on your eye. Check it out, you'll probably get a sample pair for free to see if you like them. Glasses suck in hot & humid weather.

Yeah, at this time of the year I drive with the a/c on and as soon as I step out of the car if it's raining or just recently rained (which is every afternoon) they fog up. LOL

I'll see if they have the specific contacts you mentioned although the ones I tried before are made special and they still sucked IMO.

Timber, the hot tub is draining, not quite sure what I'm gonna find in there!

I don't know WTF is up with my hot tub but after draining for 4 days it still wasn't empty so my daughter and I got the wet/dry vac out this morning and sucked it clean. No serious debris as I could see. I gotta call the spa guys and have them come out. I filled it and have it going ok but a few of the jets are broken (damn teenagers) and I can't get em screwed back on.

The temp. feels good now tonight though so I may go in before hubby lowers it. He likes it cooler than I do and he's got friends coming down from up north for the weekend so it's gonna be cold by my standards!

I have chronic papilophlybitis in my left eye and a 16 year history or vision deterioration. So, I have about 30% of the vision in my left eye and if I were not wearing glasses, could not identify someone if they were standing more than a foot away with my right eye.

I just had lasik about 2 weeks ago have you considered this option yet? They are able to do the procedure for near or farsighted people and also for astigmatisms.

i hate wearing contacts. My vision suck, just hate it waking up every morning to put them on, then to take them offf at nights. My vision is getting worst every year. Was thinking of getting the laser surgery. Had some friends and relatives get it, it went all well to them.
