I just started laughing and wondering to myself how is it that they can look in the mirror and not notice their bird legs. I can't wait to see one of them stub a toe!

What else are you suppose to use when going to the gym, shoveling dirt, walking on the roof to clean the gutters, jumping your dirtbike??? :dunno: Thongs are the Australian way.

By the way a lot of Australians do all of these thing in them. I perfer my trainers lol

Well, I fianlly caught a glimpse of this myself today. The kid even works at my gym, I almost lost it. Now my gym in not hard core by any strech of the imagination, but come on. Sandles, what the fuck are people thinking. It one thing if its one of those long hairs surfer kids who come to work his abs and do a few curls, but when the kid works at the front desk, and is always trying to give people lifting tips. CRAZY I TELL YA!

yeah, i've seen some pictures of arnie working out barefoot too, not that anyone should try to emulate that... i'm not worried about myself at the gym anyways, i know where to drop my weights when done w/ a set, i can walk from point A to point B without tripping, i have no serious lack of coordination or anything. what i'm worried about is the buck-30 morons swinging 60 pound dumbells for curls by swinging them with their back and shoulders... one of these days one of those retards is going to let go and the weight is gonna hit someone/thing. it's like driving, i'm a pretty safe driver, it's the other morons out there i'm worried about.

BTW, there's a pair of adidas shoes out there that even have mesh on the recessed panels on the sole of the shoe. wear those with some thin sports socks and you can feel even a light breeze through them.

I love it when people mention how the pros train. Sure, they're big, but they have some of the worst habits. lol

bump on this... about 1/4 of the ppl who work out at my gym wear flip-flops.. annoys the shit outta me but yesterday i saw a first... the guy actually did a leg day in flip-flops, i was gonna ask him how that worked out for him and if could get good footing... what i loved about it tho was when he was on the hack squat machine and he throws on 6 45s on each side and then goes a quarter of the way down... ppl always tryin to show off instead of just doin the exersize right... about half the guys that work out here dont have shit worth of form b/c they wanna look like a badass.. i guess thats what its like at most college towns

I donno I could really care less what the other guy's are wearing in the gym... Who cares if they prefer flip flops, like spikes said He will learn and so will everyone else who gets a weight dropped or some big f#@ker steppin on his toe.... I can understand why it would bug someone if some guy was doing yoga in the middle of the free weight area but who cares what they wear they are the ones who look that way :)
