BAD reviews for war of the worlds, wont be seing it.. Reviews inside..

I was just reading MM and here are a few of the reviews. I wont be waisting my time with this movie.

"just came back... Something to see by yourself... If you take someone else to see it, expect a quiet ride back because there was no plot whatsoever..

The whole movie could have taken about 10 secs from start to finish.. THe last narrative of the movie basically IS the movie..

Fantastic special effects and very grand on the scale of production... Kind of INDEPENDENCE DAY-like... very surreal...

The only thing I don't like about this movie is that it's basically a 2 hour action rollercoaster with nothing in between.. No character development, no plot, very little human-human interraction, and not really anything that stirs your emotions.."

Bro...there are sooooooooo many movies out there that we could say the same thing about. They take the best parts and put them in the trailer or previews to make you think that it will be one bad ass movie!

I don't know, from that review there, makes me think it may actually be a good movie. It's pretty much stating that there's too much action and not enough plot and story. Technically, we already know what the story is, all's that's left needed is action. One of the reasons why sequels are sometimes better because the first movie usually gets all the story and plot out, so it's all out action after that. Which is what i'm about, the action, I could give two shit's about the plot. "2 hour action rollercoaster", how could you not like that?

My daughter loved the action but there wasn't much of a good story line.

She went with another friend, both are 13 but smart.

Based on what she said, I'd go and see it since special effects are better in the theater than at home unless you're loaded like Bouncer and have the whole deal set up at home.

Saw it today.it was like buying a custard filling doughnut you know how you bite it and bite it and you think you gonna get some custard and at the end there is nothing because they gave you the wrong one.it was like that I was hoping that it would be like the independence day,you know humans would find the way to get their shit together and kick some allien ass,but nope that didn't happened,and that is all I am saying. :P
