Almost beat the piss out of someone about 10 mins ago.

I was picking my boxer up from day care. He goes every thursday, the people play with all the dogs and so on. Anyway, I put my boxer in the car and was pulling out of the parking lot. There was this guy parked next to me that was on his cell phone he had his door open with one foot on the ground and one foot in his car. He was kinda just relaxing in the parking lot on his phone. Anyway, his door was about 5 inches away from my car. So I start backing out and he grabs his door and closes it real fast like I just hit it. He looks at me threw the window and keeps staring. So I stop and get out and say whats the problem. In a loud tone he says, "couldnt you wait until I closed my door". I said, "your door was 5 inches away from my car and on top of that you were on the phone, not getting into your car". He keeps getting louder and kinda walking over to me slowly. I say to the guy, "dont come at me talking like a tough guy, your acting like you want to fight me and I know thats not what you want to do", I say "I was pulling the fuck out and you stare at me like you want to fight, now get back in your car and shut the fuck up." He puts his head down and walks away. Im glad he did because if he didnt I would prob be in trouble. I told sana and she got mad at me. Did I handle this wrong? Should I have just kept backing up out of the parking lot even though he was staring at me like a hard guy?

he was at fault man. There some assholes out there who think they have every right to do whatever they want and then they know thier wrong and cant admit it. Just like some people hauling ass in thier cars with thier cell phones, taking stop sign, or even worst the ones i hate who dont put thier signal lights when turning.

You did good in not kicking his ass bro, keeps you out of trouble man. Why do u want trouble and have a record. When I come to situations like this, i wish i can kick thier asses but not worth it.

LMAO. I think you handled it fine. I'm sure sana wanted you to have not said anything and just drive off. But technically, you didn't provoke him to fight, you just kept advising him that that's not what he wanted to do and you didn't imply that you wanted to fight him. I think that's handled well. It could've been handled a lot worse if you think about it.

I say if somebody starts something-they had it coming. You did what you could to avoid it as far as I'm concerned. You certainly didn't start anything. If I walk away or drive away without "resolving" the situation, it bugs the piss out of me forever. I have to have resolution and let smart asses know where they really stand.
