So, this is just me ranting cause nobody else understands what this is going to mean to me--I know some of you will be able to sympathize though. I broke rib #5 fighting and, needless to say, it hurts to move, breathe, lay down, etc. So, obviously, I'm not going to be lifting for a good 4 weeks at a minimum. I can't do anything at this point that requires motion of the rib cage without extreme, sharp pain--I tried a 5lb dumbell chest press and almost cried! I'm going to try to do some lower body and maybe bicep workouts weekly, but I really want to just let it heal properly so I can get back to doing everything all out again. I haven't had to take this kind of time off for about 4years and I suspect that nobody is going to want to be around me for the next month cause I will be a royal bitch. I admit I'm addicted to working out and I will be going through severe withdrawal.
I still have to decide what diet to follow to make sure I don't lose too much but also don't get fat. I'm leaning toward a 30/50/20 at my new inactive BMR/AMR to make sure I get enough protein.
This month is going to suck!!!! :thumbsdow :bawl:
