I liked those also, but I don't think it was on the countdown. One my favorites on the countdown was this

        You're as old as me!

I can still clearly remember the sound that game makes when you get a touchdown. They also made a basketball and a racing one.

Do ya'll remember that football game where everything vibrated and the players just randomly wandered around. If you were lucky enough someone might get the ball into the end zone. It was really stupid if you think back on it but I loved it at the time.

Also, there was some game with the name "fire" in it - it had little metal balls that you shot at each others end of the board - does that ring a bell? Oh, and where the hell is Hungry Hungry Hippos :D?

I must have read over that list 10 times looking for it - lol...

Did I happen to miss the electric race car sets that had loops and went up the wall too? Also, does anyone know what I'm referring to with the "fire-xxx" game?

By the way, why didnt' they include matches, lighters and aerosol cans, firecrackers, slingshots, piles of leaves, snow forts, simply digging holes in the ground (which reminds me - if you dug through the earth to China - would you come out feet first  ) , bbgun wars and the like :D...

Well the simple answer to the china thing is that the gravitational pull would change at a certain point and you would be digging up (as if you were burried) than down like when you started.

Keep thinking about it - it is quite intriguing if you really ponder it. Also, take into account "Einsteins Theories of Relativity" and the possible effects you would experience during your dig if there is no such thing as "perceived gravitational pull."

Sorry - back to talking about our long lost childhood :)...

I can't find the damn game I am thinking of with the word "fire" in it. I have been trying to look but haven't had any luck. The more I remember I am thinking it was like this; each player (only two) had numerous little metal balls that they could aim at objects that "floated" on metal ball bearings and the object was to knock their shapes off the board (something crazy like that).
