thats rado though. is it his problem that people react the way they do? im on the fence with rado. sometimes i could kill him and sometimes i think of him as a friend.
i have known him on the boards now for some years. i used to think he was just a big tool. he is like the person that you dont really like but you have known him for so long that he is just automaticly someone you care about. lol. that was about the gayest thing i ever said. :P

No it is not Rado's problem that he can't shut up about himself - it is his girlfriends :P....

Maybe, eventually, the board could change it's name to..... Rado'sMucles! ;)
Haha, just kidding. Really like this board. But it used to be better when it comes to discussions concerning nutrition and supplements. I escpecially remember YellowJacket.

How does everyone feel this is going? Seems to be a lot of bitching to newbies. It's easy to forget if you've been around here for a while, that it's not so easy to find what you're looking for at first. A little gentle instruction goes a long way. Sometimes education requires an outside catalyst. Everyone isn't able to educate themselves.

As for the "newbie bashing" I think that newbies can be quite refreshing. However, when they ask the same questions over and over again AFTER they have had 20-30 "gentle instruction" responses from knowledgeable members then they have issues. I understand your point that not everyone is able to educate themselves (however rediculous I think this is) but when they have been pointed in the right direction so many times that they can't be lost anymore is when it gets silly.
In regards to the bitching at newbies, I know that I can be sarcastic at times but I am only an ass once it's determined that someone is hopeless. If you notice the newbies getting bashed I'm sure you can look at all of their previous posts and subsequent responses and see why I may say the things that I say.

Duly noted. I don't consider myself to be an expert on anything here, but I've been reading alot about fitness and exercise and bodybuilding techniques and theories for many years now and I still feel like the amount of information to take in and consider is overwhelming sometimes. It's cool to see people posting advice from their own experience and find that it's exactly what I've been doing and agrees exactly with the stuff that I've figured out on my own. It may seem that it's not possible for someone to miss what seems obvious to us, but I'm sure that we miss what seems obvious to them. I feel like I'm starting to ramble...um...yeah...laterOriginally posted by fog_hat1981I think that like everything else it can take time.

The amount of information IS very overwhelming at times - especially when you try and factor in supplements and drugs etc. I would never consider myself even close to "expert" status on anything either as I learn new stuff almost EVERY single time I log on to my computer.Originally posted by babybluesDuly noted. Your last 2-3 sentences are excellent points, however (and I know that I use this damn quote all of the time if anyone is thinking that) "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink."
