  • Great Quote

I was reading a biography of Ivan Lendl, the great tennis player from a few years ago. Lendl, as everyone probably knows, took conditioning, practice, etc. to a scientific level that was probably unique in those days and I was very impressed with this quote of his:

"If I don't practice the way I should, then I won't play the way that I know I can."

I am going to frame this quote and place it on my piano.

This has good relevance to practicing good form and technique and never cheating yourself. They say it takes on average, a minimum of 25 repititions to induce a technique into muscle memory.
