I can't even imagine not having a TV and surround sound.

Over the past few years, I have steadily downgraded my satellite subscription to a point where now I just have the bare bones $19.99 package with Dish. I have however not turned on the TV in about a month, so I am really close to punting the satellite subscription altogether.

We have a TV/entertainment room w/ a big screen and surround sound and the like in the basement.

Trust me- the bedroom TV on the main floor gets plenty of use!
