ryan's performance of rem was simpley awesome awesome awesome, it's what lot's of this stuff is about, it was a show stopper

gotta say though, when he did his oncore, repeat of it, welllllllllll, he was not as consistent with the emotion, he couldn't rehit that high note, and did something I thought was strange, I really thought he had a shot to show some great consistency, and in the end, it might of hurt him a little in the bands eyes

magni, well, agree a hundred percent, solid all the way, which ain't bad cause lot's of time a solid singer with the right band can shine, their game get's brought up, although you can't go from average to shining with the right band

Magni was badass tonight! My least favorite was actually Lukas. (Which is ironic cuz he's been my favorite for a while.) I think it will be between Dilana and Magni at the end.

Yeah Magni's perfromance was killer. I honestly think tehy will pick him. I just wish tey would get ridof Zayra...I can't stomach to see or hear her anymore.

I liked Lukas' performance - I thought it was good. Magni was good too.

I did not like Jill, Josh, or Zayra - imagine that....

I thought Toby's performance was funky - didn't look like it fit him, lol

i actually liked ryans performance, i happen to not like that song, and his version of it was enjoyable to me, although, his voice seems to be getting better, to me he seems to hit sour notes, could be just me though

arghhhhhhhh, sayed or whatever her name is, she's gotta go, it's getting ridiculous

dilana, i really didn't think her version of the song was as great as everyone said, yet, i did give her praise for "steppin back a bit" and letting gilbey shine, it's show bizness, people want a show, and i thought how she handled it with not oversinging on gilbey and letting his vocals come thru, just made for a good show, compared to how many times we've seen her goin nuts

I think they should have eliminated Zayra when they had the chance. Now the voters have fallen in love with her crazy performances. I dont think we will see her in the bottom three again for 2 or 3 more episodes.

yeah, I have to agree there, I really can't see how she is getting alot of votes, she really struggles singing, although gotta admit, she is the only controversial contestant

IMHO, i think director, gave some directions to dave navarro, "hey, man quit being so damned nice, give these kids some smack, we want drama, we want tension, we want people on edge, etc. etc. etc."

personally though, i appreciate the fact there is no simon cowell, what they are doing is so f'n tough to begin with no reason to destroy folks for entertainment

After last night's performance, I think Storm should be the next one gone. As a matter of fact, I think they should go ahead and eliminate everyone but Magni and Dilana. It is definately going to be those two in the end.

Ryan's performances have gotten better, but I don't think he is consistent or solid enough as an overall performer to be the frontman of the band.

Lukas was interesting in the beginning, but as time goes on I think it shows that he really isn't very dynamic. Jason Newsted always gives him shit for muting his vocals by restricting his vocal chords and I would have to agree.

I still like Dilana but I don't think I could listen to her raspy voice for an entire show.

At this point, I think Magni is the most solid and well rounded contestant.

As for Zayra...lol...she is a frkn nut, but she does have a great voice which she proved by doing a song w/in her element. She has no business trying to front a rock band.

Well, they finally got rid of Zayra. I thought she would stay a little longer for performance value, but they were right to get rid of her, as she had no chance in the contest. What the hell is with Magni in the bottom three?? I smell a conspiracy. Here is my theory..... Verizon, (the main sponsor of this whole ordeal), wanted a way to get even MORE people voting. So what do they do?? They talk to the people behind the scenes, and RIG THE BOTTOM THREE!!! Now once people see that one of the crowd favorites and serious contenders has fallen into the bottom three, everyone will start voting. They will no longer just sit around because they think there is "no reason to vote because he will be in anyway". The result? Verizon's profits from all of the text voting will go through the roof!! Part of me is joking, but part of me believes this may be possible, as I don't see any way in hell that Storm, Toby, and Lukas all got more votes than Magni.

did you notice the supernova performance, my best bet said they taped that and shot that several times and then cut it together, the quality of video of sound were way way different

i don't know, i have sneaking suspicioun ryan might last awhile, his voice may be, and that's just a maybe, more suited to their sound, when they did the clips in the studio i thought ryans voice sounded damned good against the tracks, better than most
