Regardless - in 30 years I'll be 60 and I can only imagine what my eyesight will be like then...

It doesn't really make sense to me though - they're correcting your vision - I don't see how all of a sudden there would be a "side effect" that wouldn't be there immediately...

I don't know, but maybe there is a reaction in your body from shaving down your eye ball, that takes 10 years for a noticable change... because your body thinks your eye should be a cetain way according to your DNA.

You never know with this stuff, and for me my fear of loosing my vision would probably end up keeping me from going thru with the procedure

I had it done in Dec. of '05 and I went from a -3.00 prescription to 20/15 vision. Only cost $1600 for both eyes, the eye drops, and the follow-ups. Best money I've ever spent!

im considering getting it this year, probably in the summer. Good thing, is u can give it in payments. They were going for around 400 per eye.

I personlly know a dozen people who've gotten it with the same doc and good results. I need it bad.

I was going to do it for my 40 birthday present to myself...that was 4 years ago. My Dr. said if I am not having any problems with contacts, why do the surgery. I still think I will do it some time in the future, just not sure when. :D
