Seem to have a little bit of a mild pain/tightness running from the mid back of my hamstring down to the upper side of my lower leg. The muscles in that area seem to twitch more often also. Stretching dosent seem to help much. I did a search on google and fuck, I did it to myself again. Google has scared the shit out of me. First thing you get on google when you type in leg or calf pain is blood clots. How come every little ache and pain on google is life threatening?lol Sciatica has crossed my mind but that usualy runs from the ass to the toes dosent it? My pain starts in the middle of the hamstring and runs to the upper side of the calf. I have a doc appointment on Monday to have it looked at. Anyone have an idea?

Considering test's effect on ligaments and joints, not surprising. Is this something that just started happening, or has this been going on for a while. Possibly a strained hammy.Originally posted by THE BOUNCERlol, you sound like sana.
i will tell ya though dude, one side effect I have had since coming off AAS that I didn't expect is pain. everything seems to hurt.

I had something similar and couldn't figure out how it happened. Talked to a trainer friend of mine who said it could happen from something as little as letting the weight down to fast on leg curls. Took about 2 weeks off from legs completely which seemed to help.

I think it may be a pinched nerve. Seems to start around the hip area, goes down the back of my hamstring, and stops around the top side of my calf. kind of like a mild stretching/burning feeling. i have noticed off and on for about 3 months now.

That's the truth. Starting about two months after I came off (after being on for over a year) everything was aching from muscle soreness to joint pain. I would say it took 3 or 4 months at least before I stopped feeling like an old man. Now I just have to listen to my body more when it needs rest. That's taking some getting use too.Originally posted by THE BOUNCERlol, you sound like sana.

In your case it sounds like it's a mild strain. People that I have talked to about blood clots is that if the pain is from that, it is a pain that's pretty strong deep into the area.

Ya, I dont think its a blood clot. Its more of a mild burning tight pain all the way down my leg from my hamstring to the outer calf. Im thinking more and more that it may be Sciatica or a form of it. This in particular is what I think I have.Originally posted by ShibbyThat's the truth. I still think you are over doing it on the self diagnosis. I don't think it's even as complicated as that. Since the pain starts in the middle of your hamstring and goes down to the top of your calf, it really just sounds like a strain or a pulled muscle that needs some extra rest. Also if it is a strain you don't want to try and stretch it out. When you stretch a pulled muscle or whatever you are just creating a mild version of what caused the injury. If it feels tight just stretch a little bit to where you can slightly feel it and don't do it for more than 30 secs total.

Yes you could feel a strain off and on for months. The part about it feeling better after lifting legs could be a lot of things. Could be that the muscle is a little looser putting less less strain on the tendon, could be the endorphins being higher... These are just all possibilities that to me sound more likely then a developing condition.
I just want to let you know all the mild possibilities and hopefully lower your stress level until you see the doc. It could be so many minor things and I know how you are with worrying about these things. So relax, let the doc check you out and I'm sure everything will be fine.
