No one here is saying he is not an extremely talanted player. He is one of the biggest difference makers in the game today. If he quit or was forced out of football before breaking Jerry Rice's records, it would just be a waste of great talent. He needs to just realize what he has been given and work on the other facets of the game that aren't just based on your recieving talent.

Exactly jbiggs: God-given talent does not always translate into true greatness. Look at Alexandre Daigle...hailed as the next Wayne Gretzky...but once he got to the NHL, he tried to get by on talent alone and wasn't prepared to work hard and learn more. As a result, he tried (VERY unsuccesfully) to coast by playing a major-junior game in the best league on the planet...and has accomplished nothing. Moss is certainly better than that, but up to this point he has failed to evolve from an individual talent into a team player. Quarterbacks risking their necks throwing blocks, running backs who collide with linemen to buy their QB time...these are the guys who can be called 'great' if they are also highly gifted as individuals. Until we see Moss working as hard for his teammates as he does for himself, not many people are going to be willing to anoint him as an alltime great.

And because you sucked his cock at marshall you understand him better than sharpe, jaworski, berman, collingsworth and all the other "media" who say that if he threw one block a game it would be a 100% increase from the game before?Originally posted by YellowJacket
Sounds like you know Randy well.... oh wait, you dont, you just listen to what the media has to say...
He is good. Very Good. But still should be required to rack Rices weights.

I couldn't agree more HITMANSB.
A good analogy would be someone taking 1 g of Test a week and not lifting, eating two meals a day, sleeping a couple hours a night, and no PCT. All the "ability" is there, but it's not gonna be a great cycle. It's just a waste.

Um yea.... This is where you hav no idea what youre talking about. Throwing a block doesnt win you an MVP or pad your stats? Maybe if you grow up a bit you can handle an adult debate, otherwise, move on to somthing you know about, which isnt located anywhere on this board.Originally posted by Tinfish

Good point, he is also the last person I would want to line up with as well. Im not denying hes done some fucked up things, he certainly has, but as long as youre playing as well as he is and have the money he does, he'll be in the league as long as he wants.
