the ending was FANTASTIC. Now, it wasn't a big gun battle or anything, but it was very cleverly put together. Here's what a lot of people I don't think realized:
1- Tony walked in, scoped the room, and then all of sudden it showed him sitting down at the table already...begs the idea that the rest of the scene is a dream
2- The trucker who sat down in the back was the trucker who's brother was killed by Christopher
3- The boyscouts were the same boyscouts that were in the train shop when Bobby was shot
4- The black guys who walked in were the same black guys Tony got into it with awhile ago
5- When Bobby and Tony were up at that lake, there was a scene w/ both of them, and Bobby asked what Tony thinks his death would be like. Tony's reply was "I think it will all just go black"
....and last but not least
6- The guy who sits down at the counter who later goes into the men's room is Phil's son
Meadow trying to park her car 85 times did get annoying, but that left an easy shot since no one was blocking Tony. Now, if it was a dream then this leaves a HUGE window for a movie sequel. For one, no one really knows what happened. Secondly, why would they even put the scene in there about why Meadow chose law over medicine???...the whole bit about how Italians are persecuted, and she saw it first hand when Tony would get dragged out by the FBI, was unnecessary. Third, why would Tony have the meeting with his lawyer and the lawyer say there's an 80-90% chance he will be indicted if they were just going to kill Tony off??? I think the premise of the movie could potentially be Meadow defending Tony.
