I thought it was really good. Yes, only one person (Phil) got whacked....and it wasn't as exciting as some of the other episodes this year.

    BUT-

the ending was FANTASTIC. Now, it wasn't a big gun battle or anything, but it was very cleverly put together. Here's what a lot of people I don't think realized:

1- Tony walked in, scoped the room, and then all of sudden it showed him sitting down at the table already...begs the idea that the rest of the scene is a dream

2- The trucker who sat down in the back was the trucker who's brother was killed by Christopher

3- The boyscouts were the same boyscouts that were in the train shop when Bobby was shot

4- The black guys who walked in were the same black guys Tony got into it with awhile ago

5- When Bobby and Tony were up at that lake, there was a scene w/ both of them, and Bobby asked what Tony thinks his death would be like. Tony's reply was "I think it will all just go black"

    ....and last but not least

6- The guy who sits down at the counter who later goes into the men's room is Phil's son

Meadow trying to park her car 85 times did get annoying, but that left an easy shot since no one was blocking Tony. Now, if it was a dream then this leaves a HUGE window for a movie sequel. For one, no one really knows what happened. Secondly, why would they even put the scene in there about why Meadow chose law over medicine???...the whole bit about how Italians are persecuted, and she saw it first hand when Tony would get dragged out by the FBI, was unnecessary. Third, why would Tony have the meeting with his lawyer and the lawyer say there's an 80-90% chance he will be indicted if they were just going to kill Tony off??? I think the premise of the movie could potentially be Meadow defending Tony.

i fail to see why any of that should be considered "FANTASTIC". lol. sounds like a bunch of shit to me. its like paying 50 bucks for a pay per view fight and it ends in like 2 minutes. fuck that, i want to see some shit go down, not a bunch of crap that has hidden meanings.

Well, sorry....All of it was mostly to leave too much question and allow for a movie, silly. Plenty of shit went down in previous episodes, though.

And think about this- people would be pissed off no matter how they ended it.

I will agree, it was somewhat "anti-climactic"

I actually predicted this. Everyone was expecting tony to go down in a blaze of glory or trying to predict how he would be killed. But instead, they went with the unexpected, a lackluster finish with tony surviving and no closure and tons of questions still remaining. You think this is the end of sopranos? I'm not quite sure.

I didn't like the ending. I wanted to see the last hour look like scarface. I wanted everyone to die.
