  • Hot as hell.

Heat index of almost 100 here today.

Wouldn't mind jumping into a pool like this right now.

I find it funny around here, if the temp breaks 90 they are calling it a scorcher and with some ozone color thingy people with breathing problems and all that should stay inside. I go running at lunch at 1pm and people think I'm crazy. I just tell them it's nice out and if they want to feel hot, go to the south.

ditto, having lived where it's routinely excrutiating hot, i'm surprised by how freaked out people get by temperatures in the 90's up north, especially when it's just for 6 hours of the day or so before it cools off.

I hate this heat!!! I'd be happy if it never got above 80F (26C)

                That's plenty hot for me.

Blah blah blah - move back down to the South if you want something to complain about - I can take a cold shower and step out into my bathroom with the ac set on 65 and I STILL end up sweating my ass off...

Scrumhalf's comment about it being like "breathing in soup" still sticks with me - too true :D....

Up north gets just as bad sometimes worse than Florida. At least in PA...I couldn't see NY or NJ being much different.

The difference is - it doesn't happen as often so people are not accustomed to it.

exactly. add to that all the smog from the cars and factories plus the black top jungle that is NJ and you have one hot fucking day.
