Hello everybody,
Here’s the deal. I got switched to another doc cause of my new HMO. I recently felt something weird in my back from doing deads, so I scheduled an appointment, thinking I just needed to get referred to a chiropracter.
To make a long story short, since she’d never seen me before she wanted to do some blood work. I thought great. Everything I’d read on this board suggested it was something that I needed to start doing annually anyway, and I asked her while she was at it if she could check my testosterone levels, because me and the misses are going to start trying for a family soon and basically I just wanted to get a baseline,
I just got the results back yesterday and everything checked out fine except for the total test levels. She said I had a total testosterone level of 700, which was borderline low for someone of my age, 25. She said it was within the healthy range of 250 – 1700, but she wanted to give me a shot and have me come back in 6 weeks to check it again. Now I really don't think that I fit the bill of someone who has borderline low test levels, and in all the research I did I never saw a range as high as 1700. So what gives? Anybody heard of a range that broad? The highest I was able to find was 1200. Could she of interpreted the results wrong?
I really appreciate any advice on this because it's really weirding me out. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
Thanks,
