I know most of you have had this experience and I have before to some extent. I just had to tell someone though since most of my friends wouldn't understand what I was talking about.
I was at the gym Saturday working out and I started working in with the owner of my gym. We got to talking and I figured I would just mostly listen as he has been lifting for over 20 years.
So one of the things he tells me is that I shouldn't eat brown rice, its too high on the glycemic index. He also said I shouldnt eat too many carbs or gain too much weight. I should find my ideal weight and stick to that. For me, my ideal weight is going to be as big as I can get.
I realize he owns more of a "health club" than a gym but it has all the equipment I need and is very close to home. This guy also swears by the behind the head barbell mililtary press.
Maybe you had to be there but I almost wanted to tell him about the near 4000 calories I eat a day just to see his reaction. I really want to talk to him more to see what else he has to say.
